The Ten Minute Rule

Ten honest minutes a day will beat two heroic hours a month for the rest of your life, and it is not close.

Ten minutes, every single day, on the days you train and the days you don't. Pick one of these.

  • Shadow work
  • One form
  • Hip escapes
  • Stick flow
  • Breath
  • Hanging

It isn't a workout and it isn't meant to feel like one. The point is that the art is never more than twenty-four hours away from your body. That is the only way a skill survives a decade of jobs, kids, injuries, grief and all the weeks you will inevitably miss.

Students log it, and nobody checks up on them.

Each of the six options has its own lesson slot in The Training, so you can follow the ten minutes on a phone in a hallway or a hotel room.
